Tour of Shropshire & Ironbridge Gorge
Shropshire is a county in the West Midlands where you will find lots to keep you occupied whether you prefer the great outdoors or indulging in its rich history.
One of the most well known places in Shropshire is Ironbridge Gorge. The Iron Bridge is the perfect place to begin a tour of Ironbridge Gorge. Now a peaceful valley, the gorge was once at the very heart of industry and engineering. Plan a visit to one of the museums and find out about the history of the area. You can also enjoy a stroll around the village or along the river.
Another place worth a visit whilst you are in Shropshire is the Royal Air force Museum, Cosford. This is located in Cosford in Shropshire and is a museum dedicated to the history of aviation and the Royal Air Force in particular.
