North Devon Delights Tour
North Devon is famous for its endless stretches of sandy beaches with extraordinary dune systems, rugged shores and unusual harbours and coves that make it’s coastline one of the finest in the world.
Croyde is a superb location with sandy beaches and spectacular scenery. The unspoilt village is steeped in old-world charm with great input into the area by the young surfing community, tourism and walkers. There are three fantastic beaches to choose from. There are many places to eat and drink in a huge variety of establishments in the area together with many outdoor activities to choose from.
Visit some of the picturesque villages such as Clovelly or Combe Martin for spectacular scenery. You can also visit Ilfracombe, a victorian seaside resort coast with a small harbour surrounded by cliffs. Lynton & Lynmouth also have lots to offer. Explore the wild and unspoilt landscape, open moorlands, steep sea cliffs and secluded river valleys or visit the many historic houses and gardens. There are also many attractions like the Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff Railway and some of the country’s best beaches.
Inland you will find Exmoor. Whether your idea of fun is an ultra marathon on the highest cliffs in England or a cream tea by the side of a babbling brook, then this is the pace to be. It is one of the best locations for walking in Europe. Explore the heather topped moorland, catch a glimpse of wild red deer or iconic Exmoor ponies and visit a lovely village pub.
