This motorhome tour will take you to Lake Constance, a lake on the Rhine River. It’s made up of three different bodies of water, Obersee, Untersee and Seerhein. Its shorelines lie upon the borders of three countries, Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
Discover Lake Constance & Three Countries by Motorhome
When you visit the Lake, we recommend you go on a boat trip. You can admire the masses of water that flow down the Rhine waterfalls. You can visit many of the lakeside beaches, cross a country frontier and cycle along the river shores. If you visit in autumn or winter, you can also visit the magical Christmas markets on its shore. Visit a Weinfest, a local festival where you can sample the local wines and specialities. These include fish dishes and fine cheeses.
Whilst here you can relax in the peacefulness of daisy-strewn meadows. You can visit Bavarian vineyards and explore charming marinas. The region around the Lake is brimming with history. This includes fairy-tale castles and ancient books in St Gallens Library. This is a UNESCO heritage site.
