Discover Wales Tour

A tour for lovers of scenery- gorges, rivers, waterfalls and mountains.

A Tour of Wales

If you love hearty food, a distinct culture, the outdoors, cosy pubs, fascinating traditions and breathtaking scenery then Wales is for you.

The green rolling hills and atmospheric scenery of Wales have inspired many. The landscape is wild, rich and beautiful with plenty to explore. There are the pristine lakes and rivers, the mountains to climb, such as Snowdon, the world-class beaches and the coastal paths. Then there are the Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, of which Wales has five, the 74 nature reserves and the three national parks. That Wales has all this and is still a relatively small country will give you some indication of how richly green and scenic it is.

On this tour of Wales as you will visit Snowdonia, enjoy climbing Snowdon, or simply marvelling at the scenery around Wales’ highest peak. Admire the beautiful haven of Portmeirion created by Clough William Ellis. Enjoy exploring the Brecon Beacons, the landscape is renowned for their big open spaces.

You will spend a day at Haford Estate and choose a circuit walk to try; visit two castles, Caernarfon Castle, described as a brute of a castle, and Conwy Castle, one of the finest medieval fortifications in Britain. You will also visit the beautiful Pembrokeshire Peninsular.
