The North of England is home to stunning scenery. From the Yorkshire Dales and Pennines to the Lake District, this is the very best that England has to offer.
Tour of the Canals and Lakes of the North
For those that love the great outdoors this tour is perfect. You will first visit the Lake District where we highly suggest you take a cruise on Lake Windermere and Ullswater. You will also visit the Yorkshire Dales National Park where the high moorlands, steep peaks and rugged trails are dotted with numerous country pubs.
You will also have time to enjoy the canals of the North. The Lancaster Canal runs in the shadow of the Pennines for 42 lock free miles through pasturelands. Just north of Lancaster is Morecambe Bay and across to the mountains of the Lake District and well worth a visit.
